This site is a collaborative effort to plan and develop America's only interactive, hands-on, permanent museum of mathematics. The museum will be governed by its Board of Trustees, with the assistance of the Working Group and the intellectual guidance of our Advisory Council. 

What will the museum comprise? Our math museum will be the philosophical successor to the Goudreau Museum of Mathematics, formerly located in Herricks, New York — but we plan to go well beyond the scope of the Goudreau to put together a world-class collection of engaging physical and virtual exhibits which will open up the breadth and excitement of the world of mathematics to kids, students, and adults. Visitors will see, feel, and hear the numerous ways in which Mathematics Underlies Simply Everything in life, the arts, and science. Let mathematics be your MUSE !
