Advisory Council

The Math Factory Working Group is in the process of identifying a strong group of mathematics professionals in research, education, and industry to serve as an Advisory Council.  The Advisory Council will suggest, evaluate, and select museum content and programs, and more generally, steer the museum intellectually.  Serving on the Advisory Council provides an opportunity to have a substantial impact on public understanding of mathematics and draw people into the field.

The Working Group is pleased to announce that many outstanding individuals have agreed to serve on the Advisory Council, including:

In addition, the Board of Trustees has approved a rotating Student Member of the Advisory Council, intended for a mathematically-inclined high school student to provide his or her perspective on the exhibits and programs operated or planned by the math museum. The term of a Student Member shall expire when he or she begins college, and a new student member shall be selected and approved by the Board of Trustees. The current Student member is
